Rise and Fall, 2022

Shakotan:

Shakotan is a Japanese word that means "low car". It can be used to describe modern low cars, but it's more commonly used to describe cars built on classic models. Shakotan cars are built on classic models and are associated with the zokusha style, which translates to "car tribe or gang". The term zokusha is likely a combination of "zoku" (tribe or clan) and "kyusha" (modded old car).

Mantra:

In the Japanese Shingon tradition, the word shingon means mantra. Mantras are considered to be a sacred formula and a deeply personal ritual, effective only after initiation. Shingon (真言宗, Shingon-shū, "True Word / Mantra School") is one of the major schools of Buddhism in Japan and one of the few surviving Vajrayana lineages in East Asian Buddhism. It is sometimes also called Japanese Esoteric Buddhism, or Eastern Esotericism (Dōngmì, 東密). The word shingon is the Japanese reading of the Chinese word 真言 (zhēnyán), which is the translation of the Sanskrit word mantra. These esoteric teachings would later flourish in Japan under the auspices of a Buddhist monk named Kūkai (空海, 774–835), who traveled to Tang China and received these esoteric transmissions from a Chinese master named Huiguo (746–805).

Nekkestsu:

The Kunio-kun (くにおくん) series (typically localized as River City) is a video game series started by Technōs Japan. The series is now handled by Arc System Works who purchased all of the intellectual property rights from Technōs' successor, Million Corp. The first game in the series is fully titled Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun (熱血硬派くにおくん), which roughly translates to "Hot Blood Tough Guy Kunio", with Nekketsu being the name of the series' title character Kunio's high school. The kun suffix after his name is an informal Japanese honorific usually applied to young males.
